SOLCA Hardware & Software Requirements

• An IBM or compatible Pentium PC.
• Windows 95/98/2000/NT 4.0 platforms.
• Approximately 200k of disk space.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0+ or Netscape Navigator Version 3.0 or higher, Netscape Communicator 4.7+. (not Version 6.0)
• Client-side Firewall configuration, allowing Telnet access to port #22 according to SCIF's specifications. SCIF's firewall specialists can assist your security department, if needed.
• Secure CRT software, which your agency installs. You can evaluate the client-side software at the following Web site: VanDyke Software
• Client-side access to the Internet via the local firewall, or through a stand-alone client with dial up or DSL access to an external ISP. (that is, your agency may use its existing dial up modem to access SCIF's network.)
• Client-side private key session authentication software to be installed by client.
