Ergonomics: How May We Help You? CD-ROM
A comprehensive ergonomics educational CD-ROM, “Ergonomics: How May We Help You?” has everything a policyholder needs to help them get their ergonomics process started and maintained. The CD creates awareness of ergonomics and discusses ways to reduce work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The CD includes sections on:
- General information.
- Cost benefits of a proactive program.
- Steps to developing a written program.
- Tools to help identify risk factors.
- Effective medical management.
- Training.
The principal writer of the CD, and the supervisor of the Ergonomics Services Unit, R.J. Banks, M.S., CIE, received the Governor's Employee Safety Award in 2005 for this CD. The CD also received a 3rd place award in Information Kits from the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds in 2004.
How to Get a Copy
The CD is made available at no additional cost to all State agencies and State Fund policyholders. You can obtain a copy by ordering online, or by contacting your Loss Control Consultant or your local State Fund Office.
This product was developed to run in Windows XP and will not run on MACs. To run the CD in the Windows Vista OS, you will need to apply a “fix”.
