State Fund Holding Free Cal/OSHA Compliance Seminar

BAKERSFIELD --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is offering a free seminar to help employers stay compliant with current Cal/OSHA regulations.

The event is scheduled for June 17 in Bakersfield.

To help employers learn more about how and why Cal/OSHA issues citations, State Fund Loss Control specialists will speak in-depth on the following issues:

  • Ways an effective safety plan can save time, money, and lives
  • Methods for developing an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
  • Areas to evaluate to avoid citations

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. at the State Fund Bakersfield Regional Office, 9801 Camino Media. The seminar will end at 10:00 a.m.
