Fresno County Farm Bureau (FCFB) and State Compensation Insurance Fund will host “Train the Trainer” tractor safety classes for Farm Bureau members on January 24th and 25th. The program will call attention to recent reports of tractor fatalities on Valley farms, review training requirements, and also provide hands-on demonstrations.

The Wednesday, January 24th class will be held at FCFB, 1274 W. Hedges, Fresno. The Thursday, January 25th class will be at the U.C. West Side Research and Extension Center, 17353 W. Oakland Avenue, south of Five Points, CA 93624. Both classes are free and run from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts provided.

Classes are open to those interested in improving their operation’s tractor safety program. Materials and guidebooks will be in both English and Spanish. Reservations must be made by Thursday, January 19th by calling FCFB at (559) 237-0263 or via E-mail to tami@fcfb.org.
