Seminar topics include:

  • Reporting workplace fatalities or injuries.
  • Developing a workplace prevention program geared toward the construction industry.
  • Establishing safe workplaces that contain electrical equipment, metal scaffolds or ladders.

The seminar will be held at State Fund’s Bakersfield District Office – 9801 Camino Media – and is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Registration starts at 6:45 a.m. on the day of the event. Policyholders who want to attend the seminar can fax an RSVP to (661)324-5364 or call (661)324-4921.

The workshop is part of a series of educational programs State Compensation Insurance Fund holds throughout the state each year to help employers create safe workplaces, inform them about new workers’ compensation regulations and to reduce workers’ compensation insurance costs.
